Montreal Super 8- screening will take place at the Sala
Rosa on December the 19th 2007, 7:30 pm. The theme is ``REVENGE``
this year, I`ll be screening one 3 min. short along with
many other Montreal artists, as usual everything is in
camera, no-post.
On Sunday Nov. 25 I will have a table set up selling some
books featured on this site @
ANNOUNCING EXPOZINE 2007, MONTREAL’S SIXTH ANNUAL SMALL
PRESS, COMIC AND ZINE FAIR!
Expozine, Montreal’s annual small press, comic and
zine fair, will take place on Saturday, November 24 and Sunday,
November 25, 2007, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 5035 St-Dominique
(Église Saint-Enfant Jésus, between St-Joseph
and Laurier, near Laurier Métro) MAP. Free admission.
This incredible event brings together over 250 creators of
all kinds of printed matter – from books to zines to
visual art and comics – in both English and French.
In the past six years, Expozine has become one of North America's
largest small press fairs, attracting thousands of visitors
as well as exhibitors from as far afield as Chicago, Toronto,
Ottawa, and Quebec City! It is one of the city's
cultural success stories, and due to its ever-increasing
growth, this year's edition will be expanded to
two days.
Expozine brings together a multitude of publications and
printed works that are often difficult to find in the first
place, much less altogether in the same room! The result
is a rare opportunity to peruse the work of hundreds of young
and emerging authors, publishers and artists, and to see
what the winners of last year’s Expozine Alternative
Press Awards are up to. Not to be missed!

Festival Montreal SUPER 8 Film Festival Toly A.K. presents "The Longing" with The Questions Marks? original score "Can She Ride?" Wednesday, November 22nd, Sala Rosa, 4848 St.Laurent.--My line Orpheus Descending, /Tennessee Williams play "clean spirits, leave clean bones behind" short animation film "The Longing" didn't win overall at last nights fest but my own overall favorite from jossee garcia did, he was also a camera op on the financial nightmare, funded in part through a gov't du Quebec funding agency, known as "Goin ape" and an all round stand up cat, cheers to him-although i think the technical prize was bigger than the grand prize, a nifty overhalled super 8 camera with sound from ABC photo on Mnt royal

"Curse of the Black Dahlia"(short)- After a punk girl is gang raped by a local gang of hoods, a lone french traveller, Anglique Cottin, helps the girl exact vengeance on the gang by ressurrecting a demon fom beyond to wreak havoc on a small town. It is now up to one man to stop them, and one man to bear witness.
"Mack On"(Feature) is about a loss of innocence, and the outcome of a life of drug addiction and depraved sexual desire. Winston the anti-hero of the story takes a turn for the worse when he is approached by the mob that he is connected to through marriage, to launder money, but his appetite for sex and drugs outweighs his will to be good.
"Phatter Pussykat - Super Cah"(Feature) A group of martial arts guerilla`s wage war on a vindictive post-apocolyptic world, through not so subversive actions they take it upon themselves to rescue a kidnapped little girl from the hands of maniac psycho.
"Zombie Nuns"(Feature): In the wake of nuclear destruction, one of the last surviving humans must battle aginst an evil opressor and zombie nuns to keep his own species from annhilation.
"The Horror"(Feature)
A group of filmakers are trapped inside a building while a vicious psycho religious slasher is lose in the apartment, dawning a Halloween mask of Madonna

At Foufs with me, A.K. and N.Clayton (www.nclayton.com) has been moved from the month of Sept. 05 to Nov. 05. WE`re doing some paintings together and some new ones seperately elaborating on the theme. I`m out of the poetry books(I did a small run)but you can still pick some up at Zeke`s Gallery & Mastorakis on St.Laurent.
If you want to hear a tune, I sang with The Question Marks, you can hear it on myspace, they`re a jam band. Yeah, it`s analogue...and...
• Exhibition: –– The vernissage was a success, the gorging of red wine went on until dawn. Highlight of the evening was a buddy taking a tumble down a flight of stairs at some tweaking chicks place which resulted in him having to get three stitches, but of course the first hospital we walked into refused to give us medical care, preferring to just swipe his medicare card and have him sit around for four hours even though there was no one else in the waiting room. I guess that`s what you get for not wearing the uniform of society….oooo….sooo rebellious
coming home me and Ryan were maced with bear spray and we've been harrassed, cased, trying to get us to throw the first punch since to get us locked up, seems like everyone in this sector wants it to go down
